Shoot Plan
Rather than do this shoot in a single sitting, I plan to do it over numerous days to document a "descent into stir-craziness" as well as to get varying weather to produce different backgrounds and colours that I would be unable to get through multiple shoots in the projects timeframe. I have chosen to take these images from my bedroom window as it is the only one in the house with blinds and I hope their use would parallel the prison bars I've used as inspiration.
Equipment: Canon 80d, Tripod Health and Safety: In the enclosed bedroom space, keep any wires out the way to prevent tripping. Ensure easy access between camera and pose location to prevent accidents caused by rushing. |

Shoot Evaluation
This shoot has been successful, with the images produced aptly fitting the project concept I was trying to produce, with the strong contrasts between the colour of the outside world compared to the strong black silhouettes of the foreground. The use of the blinds also effectively parallels the prison bars as intended, further adding to the closed in feeling I was trying to produce.
However, I feel the images would've been improved by a wider range of background colours, for instance a brightly coloured sunset sky. Unfortunately, such weather did not happen within the time constraints of this project. As such, were I to continue this project, I would attempt to get a wider range of weather outside of the time constraints of this project.
