Final Competition Images
Competition 1:
Competition 1 has unlimited entry and is essentially all wildlife rather than a specific focus like other competitions. I have chosen to enter these 6 images into the first competition as I feel they are the best images from this project and provide a range of macro and normal fauna. They also work well in varied sets, some as macro, others with strong black backgrounds. Ultimately the images have strong foci, are highly detailed and possess effective depths of field. |
Competition 2:
Competition 2 only allowed a single entry, so I effectively chose the best image this project has produced that also fits the criteria of local wildlife. As such, I have chosen this image since it possesses a high level of detail and is ultimately a very impactful image. It also firmly fits the criteria of local wildlife in the surrounding area of the photographer. It should also be noted that entering the same images into different competitions is not against any rules set out by any of the competitions and there are some images that work well for multiple competitions. |
Competition 3:
Whilst this competition could allow for up to 20 images, I have chosen these 9 as my finals for the project. They possess an effective range of foci and compositions. They also provide a range of wildlife, offering a variety of macro and regular fauna, as well as a variety of styles, some more wild with others possessing a studio like quality to them. |
Competition 4:
For this final competition, I have chosen images of wildlife that aptly fit the Cheshire wildlife trust's brief, with wildlife that could be found in such an area. The images possess a range of macro and regular fauna. They also strongly possess the anthropomorphisation that I have been endeavouring to focus my project around. |
