Shoot Plan
Working forward from the previous shoot, the new set of filters have arrived and precautions taken to prevent the filters shattering again, keeping a close eye on the temperature of the flash lights. The use of the flash lights should also help to prevent the blur found in the previous shoots images.
Equipment: Equipment: Camera (Canon 80D), Zoom Lens, Kit Lens, Macro Lens, UV Filters, Flash Lights, Flowers H&S: Care must be taken when taking these images in the enclosed space of a studio. All cables from lights must be kept safe and out of the way to prevent tripping. Ensure light temperature isn't liable to cause the filters to shatter. |

Shoot Evaluation
This shoot has been far more successful, with the flash technique providing the stability and sharpness that was the major issue throughout the previous UV shoot. The images are also much more evenly brighter, with now extreme brightness or shadows that were also present on some of the previous shoots images. Where I to do this shoot again, however, I would like to use a wider range of flowers to get a wider variety of textures and patterns in the images. |
