Makeup Shoot
Shoot Plan
In en effort to get experience working with clients in a shoot environment, the course tutor organised 2 class collaborations with the makeup and fashion departments. For this, we were each supplied a model (already made up by fashion/makeup) and a time slot. We also had a meeting with the clients before the shoot, to plan which studio and what sort of poses/images they wanted from the shoot. We were also told to have 3 final images for the first shoot and 2 finals for the second shoot (specifically 2 headshots, 2 waist shot and 2 full body).
Equipment: Canon 5D, studio lights, Photoshop.
Location: Uni Black Studio
Health & Safety: Be mindful of the any lighting wires around the studio as possible trip hazards. Ensure wire lights are not a trip hazard. Ask clients permission before touching or correcting any clothing issues.

Shoot Evaluation
This shoot proved very helpful in giving me the experience of working with a client and performing a shoot with a model. Whilst I was briefed on the rules I would need to enforce with the clients (e.g. no taking pictures on phones), the clients were perfectly amenable and did not require any intervention. I also feel I have produced high quality and professional looking shots from these shoots too, with them having well thought out composition and lighting. However, were I to repeat the shoot, I would employ a reflector to prevent any shading on the face, something I did have issues with.
