Nate Rochefort:
Continuing the research into replicating planets, Nate Rochefort's Fake Planet project. Whilst only being a student studying for a MFA in photography, he has spent his remaining time working on a project in which he replicates planets on a small scale, similar to the concept of my own project. He creates his planets out random materials such as oven grease or mud to get a strong texture from the spheres. He uses prime lens for his work, allowing him close up to the materials, something I need to work around with a zoom lens due to the presence of the water tank separating the camera and orbs. He also combines the backgrounds of the shot with the images in post, something I will consider using with some of the ink I take images.
