Live Lounge
Shoot Plan
Using everything I have learned during the rehearsal and live lounge rehearsal shoots, I now have full plan in place for the live lounge. My camera will be placed at a slight side on angle from the client, giving me the clearest possible view of her without being too far to the side or being blocked by the upper keyboard. An ungelled light will be placed in front of the client, while a light with a red gel will be placed to her back-right, bringing out the red in her hair without colouring the face red.
Equipment: Canon 80D, 18-55 lens, tripod, studio lights, red gel, Photoshop. Location(s): Uni Music Studio Health and Safety: Ensure the tripod is not a trip hazard. Be mindful of the many wires around the studio as possible trip hazards. |

Shoot Evaluation
I have found this shoot to be very successful. The client was kind enough to allow me early access to to the studio, giving me time to set up before the live lounge began, giving me ample time to get everything in order for the actual shoot. I also managed to get my camera in the exact spot I had planned despite the studio setup being changed between the live lounge and live lounge rehearsal. One change between the live lounge and its rehearsal that worsened the images has been the blue lighting in the background. It was used during the show but not the rehearsal, messing up the white balance settings as they were designed to lessen reds and as a result make the image slightly more blue, so I had to compromise and make the clients face redder to dampen the background, something I would change in the future by bringing extra lights and gels to compensate by changing the background.
